Role suggestions

Which roles to target with your CV

JobViseur reads your confirmed profile and suggests several role families close to your background: one main suggestion and a few alternatives. You pick one, then look at the jobs actually advertised for it.

How suggestions are made

  1. 1

    A confirmed profile

You fill in your profile by hand or from your CV as a PDF, approving each extracted detail. Suggestions are based on that approved profile, not on the raw CV.

  2. 2

    Several suggestions

JobViseur gives a main suggestion and some alternatives, each with a short explanation and sometimes several job titles that describe the same role.

  3. 3

    Your choice

You select one suggestion at a time and can switch later.

  4. 4

    Jobs for that role

“Find offers for this role” opens the search with the chosen job title already filled in. You start it when the criteria look right, and each job gets a Fit Score.

What these suggestions are, and what they are not

Suggestions connect your stated background (past roles, experience, skills) with neighbouring role families. Use them to widen a search, or to check another direction against real job offers.

This is not a career aptitude test and it does not replace a skills assessment. JobViseur does not know your preferences or personal constraints beyond what is in your profile.

Check a suggestion against real jobs

A suggestion is only useful if there are jobs in your area. After the search, the Fit Score shows for each job how your background compares with its requirements, and the search report lists the requested skills missing from your profile.

Limits

  • Suggestions depend on what your profile contains. An incomplete profile gives less precise suggestions.
  • Running a job search uses credits. Details are on the pricing page.
