At JobViseur, protecting your data is a priority. This policy transparently explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

1. Data Controller

The data controller is JobViseur (French sole proprietorship "micro-entreprise", 55 rue Grignan, 13006 Marseille, France), reachable at info@jobviseur.com.

2. Data Collected

We only collect the data necessary for the service to function:

  • Identification data: first name, last name, email address (when creating your account).
  • Professional data: CV, cover letters, search criteria (voluntarily provided by the user).
  • Usage data: analysis history, credits consumed.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type (automatically collected for service security).

3. Purposes of Processing

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Provide and improve the job listing analysis service.
  • Process your payments and manage your credit balance.
  • Send you essential information about your account.
  • Ensure security and fraud prevention.
We never sell, rent or share your personal or professional data (CV) with third parties, recruiters or advertisers.

4. Subprocessors

To provide our service, we work with trusted providers:

  • Supabase: secure database and file hosting (EU servers, Frankfurt).
  • PostHog: privacy-friendly analytics, EU-hosted, cookie-free.
  • Google Gemini: AI analysis of listings and document generation, covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of all your personal data.
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure: request deletion of your data.
  • Right to portability: retrieve your data in a structured format.
  • Right to object: object to the processing of your data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@jobviseur.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

7. Cookies

We use cookies strictly necessary for the service to function (authentication, language preferences). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.

8. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

JobViseur computes a compatibility score (0 to 100) between your profile and each job listing, using automated processing that includes artificial intelligence. This score is a decision-support tool meant to save you time: it has no legal effect and does not produce any automated decision concerning you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. You remain the sole judge of a listing's relevance and are free to apply or not, regardless of the score shown.
